More details
Case IH combines cornered the combine market when they designed and released the first patented Axial Flow system. This innovative cleaning system is now standard on all Case IH combines and as the mark of success has been copied or reproduced by other combine manufacturers. The Axial-Flow combine is a single rotary thrashing system that separates, and creates a vacuum of air for a cleaner system to operate in. Case IH combines have a played a revolutionary part in combine design and innovation and their combines come with a high market resale value due to their long running service life and worldwide market reputation.
Case IH combine harvester is a leader in the farm equipment industry with a history that goes back 160 years. Case IH product line includes a full range of tractors; combine harvesters, specialty harvesters for cotton, sugar and coffee; hay and forage products; tillage products; seeders and sprayers. The original Axial Flow concept was introduced in the Case IH 1600 series. The latest axial flow innovation was released in the Case IH model AF 2388 E-Clusive Axial Flow Combine Harvester. One of the biggest developments in Case IH, 25 years of rotary engineering experience has been in its axial flow system. The Case IH AF 2388 X- Clusive model combine harvester was first introduced with the single in-line Axial-Flow rotor for dynamic, precision threshing. The rotor soon became the key to the Case IH high performance harvesting reputation. Crop moves through the combine in an efficient, uninterrupted stream using the impeller and rotor design. This design also provides a multicrop ability for Case IH combine harvesters, this includes wheat, rye, maize, rice, oilseed rape or beans. The AF flow system is also found in the Case IH axial-flow 2366, 2388 and the original is found in the Case IH model 1640 and the AF 1460 Case IH combine harvester.
The Quicklub automated lubrication system is also found in all of the Case IH combine models, 2144, 2166, 2188, 2344, 2388 and the Case IH 2366 model combine harvester. Other additions on the 1600 series included the Case IH 1688 model, the hp was increased to 225 hp by the addition of an intercooler to the IH DT-466, now called a Navistar engine.
