New Combine Tackling Steep Slopes 12/02/2008 Combine manufacturer New Holland have launched a new combine to their CS6000 and CSX7000 range for their 2008 line-up. The new “Laterale” models are made for farming land on particularly steep gradients. The Laterale models comes with an automatic leveling system which gives them leverage on slopes of up to 18 pc. The Smart Sieve system maintains allows for cleaning efficiency on slopes up to 30pc. The pivoting final drive allows the body of the combine to remain level, which provides improved traction and operator comfort and performance. New Holland’s patented technology the HarveStar has many key features; four-drum threshing technology, Smart Sieve cleaning system and IntelliView II colour monitor. The Smart Sieve cleaning system controls the action of the pre- and upper sieves which means they can move fore and aft and laterally. |
