Russian Combine Manufacturer Gomselmash To Supply 10 Combines To Iran 07/02/2008

The Russian production corporation Gomselmash signed a contract with Iran on February 6th to supply 10 combine harvesters in the first quarter of 2008. The Polesie-600 combine models will be added to the batch of four others that were sent over to Iran for testing. The long-term dealer contract signed includes the further 10 to be sent out there and will lead the way for further implementation for other joint actions to be scheduled for this year.


Igor Korotkevich head of the departments sales company, said the combine harvesters are quipped with 235 hp engines and are used for mostly harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet and potatoes. The company, Gomselmash also produces mowers and machines for complex soil cultivation and was founded in 1930. They currently employ over 17,000 people.
