Russian Combine Harvester Manufacturer Increases Exports 05/03/2008

The Russian corporation Gomselmash reported an increase in exports 8 times up from last year in the month of January alone. The manufacturer supplies combine harvesters and other agricultural machines. The company supplies roughly 10 machines a day to their foreign trade partners. Gomselmash said they exported machines to the amount of $98 million last year and $55 million in 2006. The company sells to the Russian Federation and Ukraine as well as supplying combine harvesters to Czech Republic, Iran and Argentina. And supplies more than 1000 combine harvesters to the Belarusian agricultural producers.


Reflecting the industry high that farm equipment manufacturers are feeling all around the world, Gomselmash enhances its shipment of large farming equipment with crop machines used for harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet, potato and mowers and machines for soil cultivation. The company has won several awards for its combine harvesters and other agrarian technologies from Belarus like “Belarus Best Products”.
