For farmers driving smaller tractors, the option to get some fresh air form a side window rather than A.C is becoming more difficult. For livestock and mixed farmers who don’t need to have a fully enclosed cab with only the A.C providing air and temperature control, the tractor options shrink to a very small range. For arable farmers working on large pieces of land who do need protection from the dust and heat on long cultivation runs the option for a side window is not such a big issue.

Resourceful students from Pennnsylvania University will take the nearly 900 pounds of butter used in this year’s Pennsylvania Farm Show and convert it into bio fuel that will run tractors and other farm equipment. The event’s famous butter sculpture will be scalloped into barrels and bought back to the University and State College Area High School.
